Smart Varnish, a ready-to-use water-based polyurethane varnish, is specifically designed for the proper protection of microcement.

This varnish boasts excellent abrasion resistance, ensuring compatibility with common household cleaning agents. Additionally, it shields microcement surfaces from the effects of weathering and sunlight, maintaining their original color without yellowing. Smart Varnish is a versatile solution suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

The application process is effortless, thanks to its ready-to-use formulation, eliminating the need for dilution. Whether applied by brush or roller, Smart Varnish significantly enhances the color of microcement coatings.

Smart Varnish is conveniently packaged in 2L and 5L containers, providing options to suit your project needs.
Application

Ensure that 24 hours have elapsed since the last Smart Varnish coat application, checking for a dry and dust-free substrate. Allow an additional 24 to 48 hours before applying the Smart Varnish ready-to-use water-based polyurethane varnish. In cases where it is applied over old varnish, thorough sanding is necessary to remove stains, grease, dust, or poorly adhered products.

Apply three coats of Smart Varnish's ready-to-use water-based polyurethane varnish in a single day, utilizing a brush or roller. Maintain a four-hour drying period between each coat. In areas with heightened moisture or heavy foot traffic, consider applying four coats for enhanced protection.

Allow a 24-hour drying period and, for complete curing, abstain for seven days from the Smart Varnish ready-to-use water-based polyurethane varnish application.
